A colleague recommended a visit to Kacy's website. That was the beginning. I am an owner of a speech pathology practice. We have been in business for over 30 years and have all of the materials, supplies, files, and papers to prove it. We have expanded our offices 3 times in the last 15 years. The current space was bursting at the seams. I was thinking of how to rent additional space, or at the very least acquire more storage capacity. Turns out that after 18 hours with Kacy--and many more hours without her--there are now empty shelves and cabinets in just about every room in the practice. Who knew?! I really appreciated several things about the way Kacy worked:

First, The schedule: We contracted for a finite amount of time--with a deadline. Over the course of 4 months, Kacy met with me and my practice manager half a dozen 3-hour working sessions. We then continued the projects between our Kacy appointments and ended up making great progress.

Second, the Kacy experience: This woman is a worker. She is not afraid to tackle anything that stands in the way of an organized office. She travels with her kit of supplies and is generous with them. She isn't afraid to clean--as in wash--cabinets. She helps to rearrange furniture, hang pictures, advise about office esthetics, as well as fill and remove giant bags of trash.

Thirdly, it is a treat to spend time with her. She is easy going, funny, and nonjudgmental. She is skilled in interpersonal relations and keeps things on a positive note.

Lastly, she gives ideas for systems to maintain the new look. Although our work with Kacy was a bit expensive for us, it was WORTH EVERY PENNY. She had us doing things we never would have accomplished without her. Sign up!

I thoroughly enjoy working with Kacy. Before working with her, I did not have the vision or discipline to tackle updating my filing system. Over a hundred articles and conference materials were mixed together and out of order, making it difficult for me to access them. She helped me to properly and creatively catalog a career's worth of publications. I now file on a regular basis and I can easily access all my files. My files are well-organized into a functional system. I recommend Kacy without reservation.

Before working with Kacy, I had ergonomic issues due to space constraints, oodles of piles, and items not grouped. We opened up space on my desk, neighboring tables, and walls. On my desktop we created just 3 translucent files for "to pay," " to read," and "to review," which took care of my biggest, most permanent pile I can finally breathe and feel refreshed in a tiny space. Kacy was very patient, encouraging, and helped me make big strides in a short amount of time. The grouping of gifts, history, writing utensils, and notecards was a huge help, yet minor shift. I highly recommend her.

Even though I'd realized that my office needed a major overhaul, I was sure I could figure out what to do next on my own. But I never could seem to, and that's why the few hours that Kacy spent with me were like a miracle. In our first two sessions, almost fifty bags of old papers went out with the trash. Three unsightly file cabinets fewer, my head began to clear along with the office. What was surprising was how rearranging and reordering books and files reordered my brain at the same time. I love sitting at this desk now, with its clear space behind and in front of me and all materials I need at my side.

Before working with Kacy, I was feeling stuck. I couldn't figure out what to do about my disorganized and unpleasant home office.  Kacy had great ideas, positive energy and real enthusiasm for helping me get "unstuck." Without having to buy any new furniture, my rearranged office is far more pleasant. We reorganized my drawers and got rid of lots of unneeded papers and miscellaneous stuff. That feels great and will save me a lot of time hunting for those office supplies I know I have in there somewhere!  I now enjoy being in my office and can work productively. Because of that, I will certainly complete my dissertation!  My one purchase, a rolling file cart, plus rearranging my furniture made all the difference.  Kacy saved me hundreds and perhaps thousands of dollars I might have spent on the wrong furnishings for my office.

Before working with Kacy, my home office was a mess.  There were piles everywhere and no systems in place.  After finishing, there is no more mess! I have a system, a method, and excellent results. I can now see my floor, sit on my couch, find things easily, and I don't have piles that build up over time.  These systems can remain in place when I move to my new home and new office space.  Kacy is a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her as an experienced organizer with great insight and ability.

Before working with Kacy I felt constantly distracted and uninspired in my office. Kacy helped me so much during her numerous visits to my small and cluttered apartment. When she first arrived, I had so many years of boxes and papers filling my bedroom that I could barely turn around -- in fact I had to move boxes out of the way each morning to open my closet and then move them back to get out of the room. After patiently sitting with me week after week and showing me how to tackle the overwhelming piles in an organized, methodical way, the chaos slowly transformed into cleanliness and order. I also appreciated the ‘homework’ Kacy gave me each week, teaching me to practice the skills of sorting on my own, learning that after time I could deal with the task of clearing a path to order by myself without having her there to hold my hand for every step of the process.
