3 Tools to Zap Paper and Digital Junk Mail

Digital Organizer friend Lilli Weisz of www.simplified.life recently reminded me of the effectiveness of using DMAChoice.org to eliminate junk mail! I had completely forgotten that I entered my information on their site years ago and absolutely noticed a decrease in junk mail in the weeks to follow and even to this day. DMAChoice.org is a site developed by the Direct Marketing Association to help you manage your mail. Lilli also reminded me of Paper Karma - another tool I’ve used successfully. Paper Karma is an app that removes you from distribution lists when you take photos of your junk mail labels from your phone.

Per Lilli’s advice, I am finally using the Unroll.me app to unsubscribe from and consolidate electronic newsletters. My private email alone had 59 subscriptions! I deleted many of those with just a swipe, and grouped a couple dozen into one daily digest email.

Are you already using any of these tools? Do you have any favorite junk mail tools that aren’t mentioned here? Please share in the comments!
