A peek inside Washington’s most powerful offices

Just down the road from my home in the heart of DC are clustered the offices where many of the country’s (and world’s) most pivotal decisions are made.  Nearing the end of the current administration, the New York Times has featured a tour of the offices of Washington’s most powerful players.  Not surprisingly, many are spotless and stately, while others look a little more like the office’s we’re used to.  One powerful player stockpiles spare Manolo Blahniks in her office closet, one uses a standing desk, and another seemingly likes to organize his notes in a neat stack of clipboards.  To the trained eye, their systems show.
