Could you have only 33 items in your closet?

I’d like to think I’m pared down (because, truly, I am!), but if I actually counted the shoes, jeans, tops, dresses, coats and more, it would surely amount to the triple digits.  That’s certainly not excessive, but Courtney Carver of the Be More With Less blog has pared her closed down to just 33 items.  She teaches how do to do this with her popular Project 333.  She recently brought her Tiny Wardrobe Tour to DC where my personal stylist friend Lani Inlander of Real Life Style documented the session with photos and a rundown of Courtney’s process.  Few of us aspire to own only 33 pieces of clothing, but we can all benefit from her minimalism model to help us find just the right balance in our own closets.

If you are interested in becoming a personal stylist yourself, check out The Stylist Studio, a personal styling training program Lani is conducting in January.
