Finally, Apple has a buyback program

“I’ll get rid of it once I learn how to wipe it clean” is something I hear every time I encounter a laptop, phone, iPad, or any other device that’s been discarded to the bottom of a drawer or back of a closet. Thankfully, Apple just made it infinitely easier to do this by announcing their buyback program for all Apple computers and devices. Your Apple product may even qualify for Apple credit if it has another life left in it. At a minimum, they’ll recycle the product either via a free mail-in option or in stores. Yes, they'll also walk you through the process of scrubbing it of all sensitive information. 

Here’s to hoping that every other tech company issues a similar program to responsibly recycle their products!
