How I used Evernote this week to capture my ebook launch plan
As much as I love Evernote and all things digital organizing, sometimes I too have to get away from my screen and plan a project in a highly visible, more kinesthetic way. I had been working off of a classic to do list wth checkboxes in Evernote, but the longer it got and the nearer the launch date loomed, my tasks all blended and I had NO idea where to focus. So, last Saturday morning I posted tasks on the wall with Post-it notes, assigning one color to each type of task: web pages to create, launch emails, autoresponders, etc.
It worked wonders, and after I was done with all tasks, I was suddenly able to create a final list in a timeline format.
When all was done and the ebook was successfully in everyone’s hands, I photographed the wall before dismantling it! View my ebook launch planning wall here. It allowed me to toss the Post-its, while keeping a record of how I launched this book so I can replicate it in the future.
Without Evernote, it would have stayed up for weeks, only for my photos to end up mixed in with allllll other photos. Having it in Evernote ensures that I can bring it up to share with clients, or for myself, within seconds.
