How I used Evernote this week to consolidate notes, handouts, and business cards after a conference

Evernote Snapshot 20141020 092641

If you're still not sure how Evernote works, you need to see this note of mine. After the NAPO-SFBA conference, I created a note to include every note taken, handout, and business card generated by the conference. This took just about 5 focused minutes. It's all been recycled.  NONE of it came home with me.  I see Evernote's greatest benefit being that it makes our information useful.

If I had neatly organized all of this into a file folder marked "NAPO_SFBA 2014 Conference," it would have been neat, but not useful.

Now, if I'm on the go and need to retrieve a contact or resource from the conference, it's in my pocket.Check out my note here.
