How I used Evernote this week to keep track of thank you notes to send

Nic and I are slowly but steadily working our way though our list of thank you notes to send for wedding gifts.  The “Wedding gifts and thank you notes” note has become more elaborate (and necessary) than I could have predicted. It actually keeps track of 5 lists:

- Couple’s Shower
- Vendors
- Wedding - Registry
- Wedding - Cash & Checks
- Wedding - Other

Next to each name I’ve listed the gift item or amount, as well as a checkbox that helps me track if money from the registry site has been transferred to my checking account, as well as notes for what amounts in my checking account are to be applied towards what gifts or transferred into the separate wedding account.

Naturally, we only registered for a few objects, asking instead for contributions towards our honeymoon and a few other experiences, such as dinner at our favorite restaurant.  We were extremely pleased with the Zola registry site that allowed us to do so seamlessly and beautifully!
