[Video] An Organizer’s confession: The thing that never gets put away

Everybody has their own special brand of clutter.  It may be paper, memorabilia, travel-sized toiletries, a chronically cluttered foyer, an irrational grip on worn out old clothing, or anything in between.

For me, it seems to be the thing that never gets put away.

For the most part, my home is very neat, but I always seem to have more than a couple of things that have been sitting out for weeks or months.  At some point I stop seeing them and they blend into the landscape.  When I do notice them, I pause to think about where to put them, then get stuck, then walk away. Repeat. I dust around them. I vacuum around them.

As I was finally fed up with one of my things that had been sitting out for months, I captured my feelings about it on camera for you.  I hope there’s a nudge in here for all of us.  Do you have a thing or two or 50 that have been sitting out too long?  Is it finally time to donate it, sell it, fix it, or put it away?  Please share in the YouTube comments!
