Watch & Listen: A mini-roundup of productivity advice

Listen:

How am I such a big fan of author Cal Newport and only just discovering his podcast now? His books include Deep Work, A World Without Email, and Digital Minimalism. If you're ready to get radical about eliminating distractions and rocketing your productivity to master levels, Cal's for you. If you're going to make excuses for why you can't put the phone down EVER or go an hour without checking email, Cal's especially for you! Listen to his podcast here for Q&As and even greater insight into his  extreme methods of time management.

Watch:

"Everything you own is pre-garbage." Don't take it from me. Take it from Jerry Seinfeld! Sometimes the medicine is best taken with a spoonful of (comedic) sugar. This clip is pure gold. In it he truthfully shares, "All things on earth only exist in different stages of becoming garbage."

Listen:

Another great clip I've had "in stock" for a while is Tim Ferriss' interview with Gary Keller, founder of the Keller Williams real estate franchise.  Their conversation around this question has been helpful ever since I heard it over a year ago: How much can get done if you set aside the equivalent of one movie to single task on one important thing? Hear them elaborate on the concept of dedicating 2hr chunks to important tasks by listening here. (It's cued up to exactly the right spot.)
