What I’ve been organizing lately - a big, beautiful, messy home office

Some of my clients think “If I only had a bigger office, I’d be more organized.” Offices of all sizes are plagued by clutter though.  This was the case with a large home office that I organized over a couple of years ago; this set of photos is from back then.  My client and I recently started working together again.  The clutter had crept back in and she finally gave into the fact that it wasn’t going anywhere.  Is this an organizing failure?  No!  For lots of reasons, inertia can still set into offices with the best of systems.  Today her office looks like the “after” shot once again, and this time it took us only a couple of sessions instead of the 6 or so it took before.
