POCKET FOLDERS
If you're sorting to-dos with Kacy, you're probably getting one of these. She's passed out dozens of them over the years, keeping a stock of them in her trunk. Clients use them to organize and expand their to-do pile, with each pocket housing a type of task, such as “to pay”, “financial to-dos”, “house to-dos”, etc.

OPEN-TOP FILE BOXES - PACK OF 6
Kacy stocks these in her car too. They've proved essential for stopgap solutions and permanent systems. Some clients use one, while others use 10+. They work great on desktops, book shelves, credenzas, and closets. We love them because they are portable and force categories better than a big file drawer. Out-of-sight-out-of-mind clients love a couple of these within arm's reach.

OPEN-TOP FILE BOX
These are near identical to the Amazon file boxes, but these can be purchased as singles.
-
BIGSO STOCKHOLM FILE BOX
These are a beloved luxe version of the plastic file boxes. They are a beautiful solution for when files have to be out in the open, such as on on a shelf or in a bedroom. Kacy files her own documents in three of these in her closet.
-
BIGSO STOCKHOLM LETTER OR LEGAL FILE BOX
A larger version of the boxes above, these hold more files. Kacy has used them when a client is out of file drawers, when files have to be out in the open (great on a bottom shelf), for office supplies, memorabilia, and more. They are sturdy and stack well.
-
ELFA FILE CART
If the most active files are best placed in plain view on the desk, then this is my favorite place for relatively current files that shouldn't be hidden in a cabinet. This cart has been the perfect solution for dozens of my clients, with many of them buying multiples. They even work well in dining spaces that double as offices.

SUPER STICKY WHITE POST-ITS
Kacy hasn't used a permanent file folder label in ages. Once she discovered these, they became the only file folder label she uses. Their temporary nature is freeing, allowing her and her clients to edit labels as-needed. With a temporary label you don't have to worry about getting it perfect. Yes, these are sticky enough to last for years on folders.
-
SUPER STICKY POPTIMISTIC POST-ITS
These are super sticky just like the white ones. Kacy buys the same color pack for consistency. It's nice to always have the color we used last time - or years ago - in stock. When sorting, it's nice to color code with these. For example, we've labeled personal boxes/folders with green and professional boxes/folders with blue.

CLIPBOARD WITH CLEAR CASE
A client introduced Kacy to this and it was love at first sight. She was a few weeks into using her new Accomplisheets (buy the course here), needing a place to put her sheets and other various lists. Her weekly and daily lists are clipped to the top. The current month's calendar with recurring tasks is in the clear part, and other various lists are inside. This 3 in 1 solution will be your lists' best friend.

BIGSO STOCKHOLM LETTER BOX
Kacy uses these at home for her memorabilia, Post-Its, greeting cards, and business cards. These boxes are ideal for storing keepsakes, reams of paper, supplies, and much more. They are a beautiful solution, especially when items are stored out in the open. One client has a couple dozen of these, with one color assigned to each family member for their paper/flat keepsakes. Another keeps all of her supplies for running alumni club meetings in a box on her bookshelf.
-
3 SLOTS ACRYLIC ORGANIZER
Not just for magazines, Kacy commonly uses this for files. They work great on desktops, credenzas, and bookshelves. For example, one client had two file cabinets full of meticulously organized research files. She needed about 25 of these folders nearby for her immediate writing project. We placed them on a bookshelf next to her desk in this sorter, at eye level. Another client has this unit on his desktop, holding various folders with reference files and to-do files.

LIKE-IT PORTRAIT FILE SORTER
Similar to the Palaset sorter, this has adjustable center dividers. The quality isn't as high as the Palaset, but some clients prefer it's adjustability. Like the Palaset, when full, it nearly disappears.
-
RUSSEL & HAZEL ACRYLIC COLLATOR
Of the three sorters, this one wins "most beautiful." Pro: the solid dividers are the best-looking. Con: the dividers are 6.5" tall. (The Palaset's dividers are 9" high.) Kacy doesn't recommend dividers any shorter than this, as folders tend to wilt over a short divider.
