How I used Evernote this week to access my signed W9

If you’re self-employed too, it’s that time of year again when you’re asked to provide your W9 over and over again.  I keep a pdf of my signed W9 in Evernote for easy access.  Folks ask for it, and I can send it over within seconds - just drag and drop from Evernote.  Sure, I could save the pdf on my hard drive, but like with many digital files, it’s simply faster to view and grab it from Evernote.  Before getting comfortable with Evernote, I did have it on my hard drive, but never could remember if it was there or where I saved it.  Mac’s search function just feels downright cumbersome next to Evernote's.  This cuts out any time spent searching for it (and the space it takes up on a hard drive).  Every gigabyte counts!
