I’m now an Evernote Certified Consultant
In August I completed a training to become an Evernote Certified Consultant! It’s no secret how much I believe in Evernote’s ability to deliver peace of mind through its highly customizable, searchable personal database of information.
How I used Evernote this week to impress my accountant
Without Evernote, I absolutely would have needed an extra meeting with my accountant. We met last week and I referred to notes in Evernote numerous times: notes from my bookkeeper, saved reports, contract from purchasing my car, 2014’s tax return, and more.
How I used Evernote this week to write my wedding vows
My September wedding date looms, and (as organized as I am) I just had my first anxiety dream about it! Nic and I have decided to write our own vows. Naturally, I’ve been building a note called “Wedding Vows” where I collect thoughts, advice shared from married folks, links to articles, and quotes from favorite authors.

How do people plan weddings (let alone anything) without Evernote! It not only keeps my head straight, but allows me to seamlessly share information with my sister and sister-in-law to be who are helping with planning. Here is a sampling of my 62 notes in my Wedding notebook:
How I used Evernote this week to give a quick referral
A past client of mine recently asked me for some bookkeeper referrals. This is common, and I’m happy to do it. It’s also common for me to share referrals for graphic designers, virtual assistants, and freelance resources. I finally learned that if I have them all in one note, I can simply copy and paste the sources into an email within seconds, instead of reinventing the wheel each time I’m asked.
