Though a lot of my time is spent sitting side by side with clients at their desks, paper lurks in all nooks and crannies of a home. What happens when your contractor tells you he’s demolishing your kitchen cabinets next week and needs you to clear our the drawers? Call the organizer!

14 consultations in 3 days: What my clients learned
I typically work in 3 hour sessions, allowing me to see 1-2 clients per day. Earlier this month I travelled to Jackson, Mississippi to work with 14 school administrators and staff in just three days. The Head of Christ Covenant School, Cathy, arranged for her team to each work with me in hopes that they would get organized as a whole for the upcoming school year, being better able to focus on serving their students.
Some needed hands-on help with paper, some needed digital organization guidance, while others needed help with routines and time management...

It’s taken me fifteen years of organizing to realize that I should be regularly sharing stories about what exactly I do each week! I intend to make this a regular feature of the blog and newsletter.
When people hear “Office Organizer,” they tend to picture me sitting with a client at their desk sorting through files. Though that comprises about half of what I do, the other half finds me corralling paper in bedrooms, basements, and just about anywhere else chaos can fit.
