ast week Dr. Mike Doughty, host of The School Leadership Show invited me back after our first interview a couple of years ago.  Focusing on school administrators, he was particularly interested in my work in summer 2016 with the staff of Christ Covenant School (read the post here).  

I’m idealistic enough to believe that anyone who reads George Monbiot’s The Gift of Death post will be moved, and awakened by it.  It is a sharp, yet such eloquent tirade on the impact of consumerism, specifically, cheap trinkets that only exist for a quick laugh or thrill.

When our to do lists are a bottomless tangle our countertops have gone missing, and our desks and floors are covered with signs of indecision and lack of time,  it’s easy to feel like we have lost control.  This year I’ve personally adopted the motto of “make the most of what you have, with where you are.”

Last week my office organizing advice appeared in the International Business Times.  Lauren Lyons Cole is a writer who listens in-between the cracks.  I was so pleased that in addition to nuts-n-bolts advice about financial spring cleaning, she also wedged in some of my favorite philosophies.
