How to get it all out of your head (and onto the wall)!
When a client feels utterly overwhelmed by all they have to do, they're usually holding too much in their heads. Their days are full of "Oh sh*t! I also have to ____!" moments. When I walk into this, I love to help them to literally see all they have to do. Instead of it overwhelming them even more, they are always relieved to get it all out in the open.
My new Time Timer!
I CANNOT believe it's taken me this long to get a Time Timer! I just got one for a project I'm joining soon with my friend Alejandra of Alejandra.tv. (Stay tuned...) I've recommended these to a few ADHD clients over the years but never thought to buy one myself.
My Quarantine Bathroom Renovation (Before & Afters!)

Saving newspapers from historic events: to save or not to save
Working mostly with clients in and around DC, I unearth a lot of election newspapers and paraphernalia. Ooo, it's abundant in this town! I think I once even found a front page from Nixon's impeachment. Wish I had snapped a pic.
8 things I learned about organizing in 2020
I've been reflecting on my years organizing people's homes, offices, and lives since 2012 with these "things I learned about organizing this year" lists. Click here to read them all.
In 2020's list you'll learn about a favorite product of mine and how one client used it in multiples. You'll see before/afters of my ill-timed bathroom renovation. You'll learn a magic word I "prescribed" for a client. You'll hear one client's admission about paperwork, and more.
