How I used Evernote this week to store my gift ideas
For three years running I’ve been working off of a note in my “Personal” notebook called “Gift ideas.” Throughout the year this is where I drop in ideas and links to potential gifts for family members, my husband, and even myself. It’s a good place to keep track of some wants, not needs, to have on hand when someone asks “what do you want?”
How I used Evernote this week to train to do pull-ups
If I didn’t have Evernote and still read paper magazines (as versus digital magazines on my iPad with the Texture app), I would have torn out this article on training to do pull-ups and it would have swiftly found it’s way into a pile. I would forever aspire to be able to do 5 pull-ups in 30 days, wondering where that darn article went.
How I used Evernote this week to get rid of my yearbooks
As you know from my “Tour my home” post, Nic and I stayed with my parents for part of our AirBnb stint last month. One day I went on a wild tear through their house, purging not only their things, but my own. (Mom still hasn’t called to say anything of importance is missing!)

My relationship with Indian food is healthy, passionate, and growing, especially now that I’m not dependent on Indian restaurants! After a few trips to the Indian grocer to round out my spice supply, I was off and running.

Evernote’s Web Clipper is a cornerstone of its functionality. It allows us to grab information from the web, effectively rendering bookmarks useless. The benefits of being able to save and organize content from the web such as recipes and articles speaks for itself, but a not-so-obvious benefit is that we can immortalize a webpage.
How I used Evernote this week to capture my ebook launch plan
As much as I love Evernote and all things digital organizing, sometimes I too have to get away from my screen and plan a project in a highly visible, more kinesthetic way. I had been working off of a classic to do list wth checkboxes in Evernote, but the longer it got and the nearer the launch date loomed, my tasks all blended and I had NO idea where to focus.
